Tiki Totems

Description

This is the type of game where you know you have an important assignment you should be working on or a deadline quickly approaching…but instead you are playing Tiki Totems. Created by Spokko, this physics puzzle game includes over 200 levels of exciting gameplay and is extremely easy to pick up. As this was the first installment in the Tiki Totem series (our review of Tiki Totems 2 can be found here) we felt it was necessary to begin with this review.

The object of the game is to satisfy the Tiki Gods by having the sacred totem pole not touch the ground. Successfully remove the blocks from under it and the villagers will survive and celebrate your bravery and cleverness. However, fail to do so and the gods will burn the village to the ground! Some levels can be very tricky. If you are really stuck on a level and can’t figure it out, you are able to skip it and move on. The fate of the village and villagers is now in your hands…do not let them down!

Cartoon like graphics are great for this puzzle game.

Sound

The customized theme music and sounds give Tiki Totems that tribal feel.

Controls

Point and click controls work just fine.

Replay Value

Low – No real incentive to replay levels. Disappointing that there have not been any new levels released recently or achievements to earn.
