During the introduction video, you watch as Barry Steakfries, a struggling salesman, decides to steal a secret jetpack from the scientists, and travels through the laboratory avoiding obstacles, collecting coins, and using insane vehicles to help him along the way.

Tons of missions will keep you busy and the gameplay is absolutely superior for a mobile game. Collect coins to upgrade vehicles, as well as buy snazzy clothing, unique jetpacks, and helpful utilities to guide you through the game. It blows our mind just how well developed and fun this game is. A real plus is the fact that it has been released for iOS and Android for FREE. Possibly the most refreshing and exciting new game out there at the moment.

Presentation

Jetpack Joyride features a side-scrolling gameplay that fits perfectly with this type of action game. The cartoon graphics are magnificent and the environments change as you get farther into the factory.

Sound

This game is filled with cool sound effects and a catchy theme song that plays continuously during gameplay.

Controls

The controls in Jetpack Joyride are simple, but do take time becoming comfortable with them. Barry Steakfries is constantly running and at speeds you cannot control. However, you have the ability to move him vertically by activating the jetpack. Pressing your finger on the screen allows Barry to rise, and releasing will lower him to the ground.

Replay Value

High – So many achievements, clothing, jetpacks, vehicle upgrades, utilities, gadgets, and coins to collect. Jetpack Joyride has been one of our favorite FREE games to be released this year.
