Description
Mafia games are widely popular due to the fact that you can experience the thrilling life of a gangster without the fear of paying the consequences. It seemed like only a matter of time until a mafia title hit mobile devices with Chillingo introducing Mafia Rush. This app is packed with all the qualities of mob life including robbing banks, shooting your enemies, and surviving attacks from other gang members and attack dogs. The main character has a big head, big guns, and a tough attitude as the goal of the game is to take over the city by completing four types of missions; Robbery, Survival, Defend, and Attack.
As you progress through the city, be aware that the missions get tougher and the enemies become quicker and more resistant to your attacks. For each mission that you complete, you are awarded cash and XP that can be used to upgrade your skills and purchase more weapons. The unlockable weapons each have distinct characteristics and will be valuable in certain missions and against different opponents. Mafia Rush can be an exciting addition to your mobile device and definitely feels like a “steal” at the price it is being offered.
Presentation
The 3D environment works for this title. The graphics are not the most amazing we have seen, however for a FREE title there is nothing to complain about.
Sound
Mafia type music plays throughout the game. The random sayings the main player says during gameplay can be pretty funny until you have heard them 100 times.
Controls
The controls are very basic and use two joysticks, with the left controlling the movement of your gang member and the right the direction of your fire.
Replay Value
Low – Just one of those games where once you beat a level and get all of the cards you won’t want to play it again.

Draw Something

Description
I have seen games top both the Android Market and App Store at the same time such as Where’s My Water?, but I have never seen a mobile game take over Twitter in the process. At one time Draw Something, created by OMGPOP (now owned by Zynga), was not only at the top of the paid app charts for both Android and Apple, but also trending in the United States. That is insane.
The basis of this wildly popular game requires both your creativity and artistic abilities, as you go back and forth with a partner drawing random words and having to guess correctly to earn coins. The coins can later be used to earn more colors for your pastel or bombs to choose new words to draw or help guess your partner’s drawing. The game keeps track of your stats, such as how many turns back and forth, your top colors used, how long you have been playing, and even how long on average it takes for you to guess your partner’s drawing. The social aspect is the most enjoyable as you are able to play with your Facebook friends, people on your e-mail list, or random opponents. You can even watch your partner try and guess what you have drawn which can get pretty hilarious. Everyone should try out this amazing game and if you are looking for someone to play against, create a game with us! Our username is: This App Is Awesome. Presentation
Draw Something would certainly be easier to play on a bigger screen such as the iPad, however there still is enough space to draw most of the words.
Sound
No real sound to review here. This is a drawing game!
Controls
Using your fingers to draw something can be tough, however there have been some unbelievable creations from this game that have been floating around the internet. One site to view the better drawings created in this game can be seen here.

High – Such an addictive game to play with your friends or complete strangers.

Fairway Solitaire

Description
Big Fish Games seemed to surprise everyones expectations with Fairway Solitaire, by combining two completely unrelated games, solitaire and golf. While this is a rather easy game to pick up as with all solitaire games, what really stands out in this title among others is the amount of depth that is included. There simply is no other game that we know of like this, and fans of solitaire or golf will be sure to enjoy this title.
The entertaining storyline involves a mini battle between golf and gopher, hilarious play-by-play announcers, and mini games that spontaneously pop up throughout the holes. There are achievements that can be earned and displayed in the trophy showcase, world records that can be beaten, and even a golf shop where in-game add-ons can be purchased with earned golf bucks. Fairway Solitaire is FREE to download so give it a try, but if you want the full experience (which we HIGHLY recommend) you can purchase the game for only 99¢!

Everything about the presentation in this game is magnificent. The cutscenes are funny and the backdrop for each course looks amazing.
Sound
Beautiful soundtrack and an amazing, hilarious commentary. If we had an award for best sound production in a game Fairway Solitaire would be the clear winner.

Tiki Totems 2

Description
Tiki Totems fans rejoice…the sequel has arrived! Tiki Totems 2, created by Spokko, has vastly improved the experience as a whole while still keeping the same physics puzzle gameplay we loved in the original. The game features close to 300 levels with 3 modes to choose from: Classic, Altar, and Love. There is also a 16 level Prolog mode which acts as a tutorial for those new to the Tiki Totems series. For the first time ever, there is a Builder mode which allows you to customize any level in the game and create your own challenging one that can be sent to your friends!
Tiki Totems 2 picks up where the original left off as you must once again become the savior of the Tiki Village. The objective of each level is to remove all the blocks by touching them without letting the Totem touch the ground. The various levels are not extremely challenging but are very addictive and will keep you coming back again and again. Fans of the original Tiki Totems will tell you that this is a must have for those looking for an exciting physics puzzle game.

There is a slideshow introduction to give players a look into the story behind the game. The cartoon graphics look good and are much improved from the original Tiki Totems.
Sound
The tribal themed background music for Tiki Totems 2 flows nicely with the game.

Where’s My Water?

Description
It seems as if physics based puzzle games rule the mobile gaming world at the moment. Disney has entered the market with a smash hit called “Where’s My Water?”. This cute family friendly game starts out by introducing Swampy the Alligator, an outcast who loves to stay squeaky clean by taking baths. The other alligators have blocked the water supply by breaking the plumbing and disrupting the water flow.
The objective is to clear a pathway for Swampy while collecting rubber ducks and hidden items to improve your score. After helping out Swampy, the second story involves Cranky, an alligator who only eats rotten and disgusting food. Cranky is labeled as the toughest alligator in the underground. Help him remove those yucky vegetables that cover his plate by creating a path for the murky purple water to dissolve the algae. Where’s My Water? has over 200 levels to unlock with more being added regularly! Available for both the iOS and Android devices, there should be no reason not to get excited about this awesome game!
Presentation
Colorful environments and a cute backstory that is told via cutscenes throughout the game. The high quality is certainly what you would expect from a Disney title.
Sound
A catchy theme song and lots of sound effects that add to this awesome game overall.
Controls
Move your finger over the dirt to remove it and to make a path for the water to travel.
Replay Value
Medium – Collecting all three duckies in each level will make you try over and over until the level is perfected.
